About Rare Disease Insights

Hi! I’m Lily Stewart, a senior at the Math and Science Academy at Ocean Lakes High School. I founded my school’s chapter of the National Organization for Rare Disorders Students for Rare to bring awareness to conditions that are too often overlooked and chronically underfunded. Through Rare Disease Insights, I hope to raise awareness and funds for research that is so desperately needed.

My goal is to inspire others to learn about these disorders and together, take action. Every bit of awareness brings us one step closer to finding treatments.
